On Monday, a report surfaced that the “Boys” television series finale will air on February 10, 2018, after years of anticipation.

The announcement came via a tweet from “The Bachelor” cast member Alex Nandy.

The report came on the heels of the news that the ABC network has pulled the series, and that it will be returning to its original format.

The series finale, which was previously slated to air on Sunday, March 9, 2018 will instead air on Wednesday, March 13, 2018.ABC said in a statement, “We’re happy to announce the premiere of the final season of ‘Bones,'” but did not specify the format of the series finale.

“Bones” creator/showrunner/executive producer JB Pelton said in an interview that the decision was made because “the network was not going to be able to keep up with demand for this show.”

The network also said that the show will air “in its entirety,” but declined to reveal the exact amount of airtime.

Bones’ final season will feature new cast members, including Olivia Munn, John Stamos, Amber Benson, and newcomer Ben De La Rosa.

The show, which originally premiered in 2012, has been renewed for a second season, and will return for its fourth season on ABC on January 31, 2019.
