Six members of a family are in the hospital, but all seven of them have been in a car accident and have been airlifted to the airport to receive treatment.

Six members of the family were in a Caracol car accident in the city of Marrakech on Monday.

Their driver is a woman from the United Arab Emirates and they are all in serious condition, hospital sources said.

The woman was driving with two passengers, including her son, when the accident occurred at around 5 a.m. local time.

Her son was in the passenger seat, and the woman was not injured.

According to the authorities, the accident was the result of a high-speed collision with a car carrying three people.

The woman was reportedly travelling at around 30 km/h (18 mph).

Her son was hospitalized with a broken arm and leg, while the woman suffered injuries to her face and neck.

She was initially taken to a hospital in the town of Marrakesh, where she underwent surgery for her injuries, a source told Ma’an News Agency.

The injured passengers have been discharged, the sources added.
